In: a call for papers, and the work people send to it. Authors write with equations, figures and references, or upload what they already have. Editors assign reviewers, run the rounds, and record the decisions.
Out: the things an organizer is actually judged on. The programme, the book of abstracts as a printable PDF and a page anybody can open, registration and payment records, the check-in list, name badges, certificates of participation that anybody can verify, and attendance you can export. Accepted work is published at a permanent address, free to read and cite. All of it under your own brand, and all of it yours to take with you.
