One more conference, or a few hundred more submissions, does not mean the next plan. The calculator always shows your lowest price.
Prices are for a year.
The second year in a row costs less than the first, and the third less again, where it stays. Renew within 60 days of your year ending to keep it.
Introduce an institution and it pays 10% less for its first year. When it has paid, you gain: an organization on a plan pays 10% less for its own next year, and a person receives 10% of what was paid. Your code is on your profile, and an organization’s on its billing page.

No. There are no article processing charges (APCs) and no paywalls. Published work is free to read, cite, and reuse. The organizations that run the conferences and journals pay for the platform.
No. A plan is one price a year. On Standard, a call that receives 500 abstracts costs the same as one that receives 60. Each plan is meant for a number of submissions a year, and nothing stops if you pass it: you renew on the next plan up.
No. Your participants pay you directly, by the means you choose: your bank account, mobile money, or your own payment page. Quorum Press records each payment and helps you check it against your records. We never hold your money.
You choose. Each submission, each author who attends in person or online, and people who attend with no submission, who register from a link you share. You set the rates, or charge attending as a share of the submission fee. A person on several submissions pays to attend once.
Yes, from Standard up. A second year in a row costs less than the first, and a third year less again, where it stays. Renew within 60 days of your year ending to keep it. If you stop for longer and come back, you start again at the list price.
Yes, and it depends on who introduces. An organization on a plan has a code on its billing page: when the organization it introduced has paid, the introducer pays 10% less for its own next year. A person (a colleague, a consultant, anybody with an account) has a code on their profile: when the organization has paid, that person receives 10% of what it paid for its first year, in money. Either way the new organization pays 10% less for its first year, which is its reason to enter the code. A person cannot introduce an organization they belong to. Reductions together never pass 30% of a plan's price.
Yes, under your organization's name. A DOI belongs to the organization that registers it, so your institution registers them with an agency such as Crossref, using its own prefix. Quorum Press chooses a DOI for each paper under your prefix, writes the file Crossref takes with every title, author and address in it, gives each paper a permanent page for its DOI to point to, here or on your own website, and shows the DOI on the paper once it is registered. If you have never registered a DOI, we guide you through joining and through your first registration.
Yes. The journal carries your name, your logo and your editorial board, and its articles can also appear on your own website. Quorum Press is where the work is submitted, reviewed and read. If you are starting a journal, we guide you on its scope, its board, its review policy, an ISSN, DOIs, and what the indexes look for.
Yes. Tell us the plan and the name of your institution through the contact form, and we send a quotation, then an invoice once you approve it.
Yes. People send in their innovations or ideas, your panel reviews them and chooses, and those chosen are gathered in the programme, with badges and certificates. Set it up as a conference, or as a workshop for a small one.
Choose by how much you run, not by what you are. A department with one small conference takes Small event. One conference or journal with up to 500 submissions a year takes Standard. Up to five takes Plus. A university that wants everything under one account, with training, takes Unlimited. You can move up at any time.
No. Add only what you need to the smaller plan: another conference or journal, or more submissions. The calculator on this page works it out and shows the lowest price for your numbers. If the larger plan costs the same or less, it shows you that one.
Nothing stops. Your call carries on, and nobody is turned away. When the year ends, you renew on the next plan up: Small event is meant for up to 100 submissions a year, Standard for up to 500, and Plus for up to 2,500 across its conferences and journals. On Unlimited there is no stated number; past 5,000 a year we agree a price together. Your Billing page shows your count at any time.
A piece of work sent for review, counted once, in the year of your plan. A draft that was never sent is not counted. A revision, and the full paper of an accepted abstract, are the same submission and are not counted again. Reviewers, participants and people who register to attend are not counted.
No. A plan counts the conferences and journals that are running. A conference stops counting 60 days after its last day, once its call is closed, so next year's conference takes the same place. The finished one stays public, with its book of abstracts and its papers. A journal is always running.
Start with the free Quorum Press Community and publish at no cost. If a paid plan is still out of reach, contact us about possible sponsorship.
No. There is nothing to install or host. It runs in a browser and on a phone, and there is a guide with pictures for authors, reviewers and organizers.
Yes, on the tool your presenters already know. Hold the session on Zoom, Teams, or Meet and put its link on the program session; attendees open it straight from the schedule. Everything around the session is ours: submissions, peer review, the schedule, the book of abstracts, attendance, and certificates.
You can start one any time for free and use everything right away. To keep it, activate a plan within a few days; otherwise it is locked, and later its content is removed. Published papers are never deleted automatically. Prefer no commitment? Publish under the free Quorum Press Community instead, where unpublished drafts are kept for a year.
No. Quorum Press is the system you run the work on, and the guidance to run it well, under your own brand. The conference or journal, its standards, and its reputation are yours.
Setting up review forms and tracks, training your editors and reviewers, and, if you want, having us help run the review process. We meet you wherever you are in the process.
It is yours. You can download your submissions, reviews, registrations and files at any time. Published work stays at its address so that citations do not break.
