Posters

A poster is proposed in writing first. The reviewers decide on the text. The designed poster can come later.

Write the proposal under these four headings:

Section What goes in it
Background The problem, and why it matters.
Methods What you did.
Results What you found.
Conclusions What it means.

The four sections of a poster proposal.

If the poster is already designed, upload it under Your poster file on the same page.

Your poster file: where the designed poster is uploaded.

  • Formats: PDF, PNG or JPG.
  • Size: a picture is made smaller in your browser before it is sent. A PDF can be up to 10 MB.
  • It is optional. You can add it after the poster is accepted.
  • One place only. This is the only place the poster file goes. Do not paste it into the text.

A poster that is accepted keeps its place in the poster session. If the organizers ask for a full paper as well, turn the same submission into one. See From abstract to full paper.
